bedrooms
with
permanent
bedding
for
10.

| The two Master bedrooms are
located on the Upper level and each furnished with a new Serta
King-Size pillowtop mattress system. Master #1 has
private access to a screened porch and a great morning view of
the lake among the shade
trees
for
your
morning
coffee.
Master #2 has
a
"sun-deck"
which
can
be
used
as a private midday tanning spot. |
| The two
Guest bedrooms are located on the Lower
(ground)
Level.
Guest #1
has a new Queen-size pillowtop mattress system and
private
access to the
lower deck and lake view. Guest #2 has a Queen-size
bed with a twin bunk bed set perpendicular over the
queen,
also
with
private
access
to
the
lower
deck.
We configured this room for kids or teens or an adult couple
with a young child that needs the security of being with his/her
parents. Both rooms have direct access to the
covered lower deck and
the
dock. |
| Bedroom #5
is
a
small,
but
cozy
little
room
on the Main Level (adjacent to the Kitchen) and
has
become
what we call the "Kids" room.
It has a
convertible sofabed and a Satellite TV with built-in DVD and
VCR. We installed the TV on a wall mount about 4 feet
off the ground so the children could play video games or watch
movies at their eye level. This is a small bedroom,
but we often find that the guests with two or more kids argue over just which one gets this popular little
bedroom! |

| Will there always
be a covered slip available to moor my boat?
| Yes!
Our large double-slip dock
has one
10
x
25
foot
slip available
on
the
westernmost
side
of
the
dock.
There are also tie-ups for another boat
or up to
two personal watercraft. |

| Is the Hartwell
Heaven dock a "shared" dock?
| Yes.
We share our dock with our
neighbors
and
they
moor their deck boat in
one of the two dock slips.
The
easternmost
side
of
the
dock
is
for
the
use
of
our
neighbors
only.
The
westernmost
side
of
the
dock
is
reserved
for
the
exclusive
use
of
our
guests. |

| How far away is the
nearest boat launch?
| Hartwell
Heaven is about 1/2-mile south of River Forks
Park
which
is
directly
east
of
buoy
S-10
in
the
main
channel. The
park is equipped with a two-lane boat launch and large courtesy
dock. There is ample turnaround area in front of the
launch to maneuver your tow vehicle and trailer. Day
fee for access to the park and boat launch is $4.00.
There are also several beaches,
a
swim area, picnic tables and
shade trees which makes the park a popular getaway on a sunny
afternoon. We provide a map and directions between
the park and Hartwell Heaven with our check-in packet. |

| How far away is
Hartwell Heaven from the lake marinas?
| Hartwell
Heaven is located about 3 miles south of Portman Marina which is
the largest marina on Lake
Hartwell
and
has a
24-hr fuel dock.

| Big Water
Marina is
located
about 5 miles south of Hartwell Heaven on the
"big
water".
Big Water Marina
also has a fuel dock and offers pontoon
and
sailboat
rentals.

| How far away is the
Clemson University campus?
| By car, the
Clemson campus is about 17 miles
north
and
travel
time
is
about
25
minutes. Access is via SC Hwy 187 north to US Hwy 76 about
5 miles east of the campus. This is a nice drive
through upstate South Carolina just east of the Seneca River
bypassing any city traffic. |
| By boat, allow about
50-55 minutes if you are in a pontoon craft at a
cruising
speed of
25. However, the cruise along the Seneca River is
very pleasant and there are areas to beach your craft on the
eastern bank
of
the
Seneca
River
within walking distance of the stadium. You
might be back at the Hartwell Heaven dock long before others
caught in the traffic exile if you choose the boating option! |

| How far is it to
shopping and restaurants?
| Hartwell
Heaven is located about 9 miles southwest of the City of
Anderson. Besides the Anderson Mall, there is an
excellent selection of popular stores (Best Buy, Target, Wal-Mart,
Lowes, Home Depot, Circuit City, Office Depot, TJ Maxx, etc)
along Clemson Blvd (US 76). After you have grilled
enough burgers and steaks on our grill and ready for someone to
wait on you, there is a wide variety of restaurants (Longhorn
Steakhouse, Olive Garden, Hooters, Cracker Barrel, Applebees,
Texas Roadhouse,
Logan's
Roadhouse, Wild Wing Cafe, Fin and Filet Grille) and
many others. |
| At Portman Marina, you
don't
want
to
miss
The Galley Seafood and Steakhouse or Nami Japanese Restaurant
and Sushi Bar. These are both very popular
restaurants,
so
be sure you make reservations ahead! |

| How is my damage
deposit returned?
| If
you
paid
by
check,
your damage/loss deposit is
normally
reimbursed
by check 2-3 weeks after
your checkout. |

you
paid
by
credit
card
through
our
PayPal
link,
the
deposit
charge
may
be
reversed.
We
suggest
paying
the
damage
deposit
separately
through
PayPal
which
takes
much
less
time
and
allows
us
to
expedite
your
refund. |

amount of time
required
to
process
the
refund
is
dependent
upon
how
long
it
takes
to
inspect
the condition of the property after checkout, review the
housekeeping report,
verify phone usage and prepare the final
account
statement. |
